Product Sourcing & Selection

Do you love to shop for finishes, fixtures, tile and furnishings? With our product spreadsheet you can be your own shopper or we can select items for you and you can take advantage of our trade-level discounts. We leverage Pinterest boards and/or Houzz idea books to facilitate image sharing. By coordination of product selection with the design as well as with the specifications, we can help you prevent the pitfalls of poor product selection. With our experience in selecting items, our knowledge of product specifications, and our trade discounts, this is generally a service that pays for itself and may offset much of the full design fee.

The product selection process actually begins with Construction Documents. A spreadsheet is created which provides a complete list of all owner provided items as well as contractor provided items that require owner input and selection. The spreadsheet is populated with item requirements and quantities needed including square footage for tile or flooring. You would have the option of completing this spreadsheet on your own, purchasing and receiving the items yourself, or let us do that for you.  

 

As your product specialists, we look to:

  • ensure plumbing, electrical and building specifications are met
  • coordinate items aesthetically and functionally
  • leverage trade discounts where available
  • leverage our experience with manufacturers and models
  • provide customization solutions when required
