Gracious First Floor Addition & Remodel

Verona, NJ

Our client already had a beautiful home. However, the lack of a family room combined with an awkward back entrance meant it was time to create an addition. With a new family room, deck, mudroom, powder room, home office, and remodeled kitchen the back portion of this home became as gracious and spacious as the formal dining room, living room and foyer.  B&C Renovations, DRP Interiors, In House Photography.

Family room addition included a fireplace and seating area off the kitchen.

Stairs - BEFORE

Existing stairs and banisters were refinished. Foyer was painted with a striped pattern and wainscoting was designed/installed.

A new entrance was created between the driveway and the family room with space for a mudroom, closet, new powder room and home office.

The kitchen was remodeled and opened up to the new family room addition.

With the new family room, deck and entrance, the rear part of the house became "front-and-center".
