This ranch home in South Orange's Newstead neighborhood has an amazing rear view of the Manhattan skyline.  An entire 2nd floor was added with a mansard roof to maximize square footage. The  rear elevation windows enable the magnificent skyline views to be maximized. The mansard roofs terminate on the rear elevation with gambrel gables/dormers.

      

The new double-height foyer leads to the sunken living room open to the kitchen beyond.
